Condition is excellent, a relined canvas, with only age appropriate wear including small losses and retouches and toning throughout. Impressive size, it measures about 27" x 32" overall.

Oil on canvas of four young male nude sea bathers by British impressionist Henry Scott Tuke, or follower. Tuke's male nudes were numerous, and repainted in variations; this is signed "H-ST", a commonly abbreviated signature for the artist. Antique canvas (including its "London" stamp, where Tuke lived), nails, and stretchers are era appropriate for Tuke. Excellent condition with light craqueleur and other age-appropriate wear. 21"x25" including frame.

Large antique oil on board painting of nearly bare-breasted Princess Tarakanova in a gothic-style melodrama as floodwaters fill her shadowy room interior (she was alleged to have died in the historic flood of 1777, which has been painted by several artists.) She was the subject of the 1930 French film "Tarakanova". The painting is housed in an antique gilded and painted wood frame. Measures 27.5" x 21" framed. Condition is excellent with age appropriate wear.

Indistinctly signed lower left, and a sticker at back suggests it's from 1898 Switzerland.

18th century oil on wood panel portrait of a beautiful woman w/ long tendrils of auburn hair and a wistful gaze, oak frame. A fainted stamp in ink on reverse of the rear-ribbed panel seems to be provenance from a collection in Vienna (reads "Wien"). Later 19th century fine oak frame. Frame's corners have been secured with metal brackets, it's very sound and a perfect addition to the heartfelt portraiture. Measures about 24" x 25 1/4" framed. Condition is excellent with age-appropriate wear.

Terribly impressive 18th or 19th century big and heavy alabaster bowl with elegant shape and beautifully carved sculptural acanthus leaf rim. Fissures lines include, partly or entirely, natural veining that is inherent in the formation of the stone; the bowl has no issues that seems to compromise its sturdiness or any of the thick alabaster carving.
